Widget customization - ClaraSDR Documentation

Widget appearance is configured on the agent in your Clara dashboard and applies to every embed - change it once, and it propagates to all your pages on the next session. No redeploy.

Appearance

Clara’s brand look pairs well with a blue-to-purple gradient - set the gradient start and end hex values in the widget settings.

Branding

Agent name	How Clara is introduced to visitors
Sub-text	Short line under the header

Buttons and suggested topics

Button text - custom text for the start, talk, and chat buttons
Suggested topics - starter prompts shown to visitors to kick off the conversation

Allowed domains

Restrict which origins can embed your agent:

In the widget settings, enable Allowed domains.
Add every origin that should embed Clara, including the scheme - for example https://clarasdr.ai and https://trugen.ai.
Save. Embeds from other origins are rejected.

Enable allowed domains in production. Without it, anyone can embed your widget and consume your conversation usage.

Where changes apply

Dashboard changes take effect on the next conversation - active conversations finish on the previous configuration. Nothing to redeploy, no client-side changes needed.
